Ahh Home Sweet Home !!!!

Back from our massive adventure in the outback and energised and ready to have some fun...

What is it that makes vintage such a joy ?

I believe it is the allure of way of life that oozed style, when attention to detail was important ,when time was taken to dress. Garments were not compromised and quality was the norm not the exception.  Every era seems to have its own distinctive style, although I do need some help in defining the 90s grunge but for now and from my perspective it is the era of vintage fashion when all that was once is new again I feel excited to be apart of this world of fashion inwhich I can draw on so much creative design and I think what i love most about vintage is that you can create and recreate yourself everyday.........
I started with one clothes rack in my lounge about 4 years ago searching for something to bring me joy I created enjoyit I asked my sister and husband do you think I could make a living from selling vintage clothes and here I am. I have a stall with the lovely Vanessa at the Vintage Emporium ( Vintage Shed ) Tyabb road Tyabb open Thursday - Sunday 10-5 and a new stall opened at Glen Waverly 11A Aristoc Road ( Whole sale Antiques ) Open 7 days a week 10-5. Whilst having the sublets are wonderful I do crave the interaction with the girls and so I still do the Camberwell market usually the last Sunday of the month I am there 27th November , 4th & 11th of December you may know me by my pink market hair.  xxxx see you there for a vintage bargain .
